See the Lord as Everything
From:
Sri Sathya Sai
Blessings on you and members of your family.
Whoever has rathi or attachment to bha or Bhagawan or the Lord is a Bharathiya or Indian. Bharath is the name of India. That is the ancient name. Cultivate that love towards the Lord and His children and His handiwork, the world where His glory is immanent. Then, the soil on which you are is India. That does not mean that you need not come to India. It only means that there is nothing special in any country. It is all a question of the mind, its attachments and its attitude. It is the instrument for either bondage or liberation. Attach it to the world, you get bound; attach it to the Lord, you are liberated. See the world as everything, you are bound; see the Lord as everything, you are liberated. That is the secret key.
The rain drop has come from the sea. Wherever it falls, it yearns to reach the sea, its source. When it falls on some hard ground and gets lost, it again rises in evaporation and becomes a rain drop again. It has no peace until it merges in the sea. It is happy when it joins a stream or a river that flows towards the sea. Man is the rain drop. The urge to reach the source, namely, the Lord, is in everyone. Some achieve that goal quick, some late. But all must reach it. Merging in the sea of ananda from which one has come is the meaning of Self realization.
Prasanthi Nilayam With Blessings,
