Devotee's Happiness is Everything to Me

Madhusudan! Accept blessings. Received your salutations along with the flowery contents. Happy.

Dear! I am not writing any letter, because streams of devotees are coming to Puttaparthi like in festivities and I am fully engaged in taking their care. Even though letters are scarce, compassion is there upon and along with you. It has been protecting you all along like the eyelids protecting the eyes. The happiness of devotees is food to Me. Their enthusiasm is like a swing to Me. Devotee’s happiness is everything to Me, and hence, I shall never put them to trouble. However, devotees blame God as the troubles of mundane world become unbearable to them. But, God’s form is Love. His nature is peace. Bliss is His innate quality. So then, how can there be anger in Him? The root cause of every trouble is man’s aberrant vision. Any amount of education, position, wealth or strength one may have, these are not at all comparable to God’s strength. All powers are originated from God only. Atmic power is the basis for all physical, mental and spiritual abilities. Self confidence is the life breath for man. In the absence of faith on Self, life is comparable to a rock or a demon. ‘Easwara sarva bhootaanaam – God is present in all beings.’ Also, He is all-pervading. Every being having breath is known as Sivam; devoid of it, it is a corpse (Savam). Difference between Sivam and Savam is caused by breath or its absence. One’s own form of Self is his auspicious breath. God’s form is that which is beyond the five types of aberrations, namely, the defective vision, the defective hearing, defective talk, defective thought, and defective deed. Human birth is sacred. God can be found only through this birth. While this is impossible for other species like birds and animals, it is highly unfortunate for man to fritter away this great opportunity and privilege. You are really fortunate. Swami’s sweet letter is not available to everybody. This privilege is due to merits of your previous births. Joys and sorrows, riches and wealth are like passing clouds. They may stay today and may vanish tomorrow. But when God’s grace is obtained, there can be nothing greater than this wealth. Dear, do not search for good or bad in others. Have good feelings towards one and all. Do not allow anger, jealousy and hatred to enter your mind. Regard everybody as personification of God whom you are worshipping. This way, you will achieve fulfillment of life. There is no spiritual practice greater than this. When parents and elders are respected and served and when their blessings are obtained, God’s Grace will naturally follow. How can those who do not respect parents, regard others respectfully, how can they achieve Atmic experience? Therefore, first of all, try to please parents who are like creators of this body. Thereupon, you will get the blessing of the country’s creator, God. Sai is your hai (happiness). Convey blessings to all at home.
