Unity of Wife and Husband is Samsaara

“Amma, Padma, don’t worry about anything. Be courageous and happy. Swami’s name will solve everything. When you have Swami’s daya (compassion) in full measure, why do you fear? Samsara is the ‘sara’ or essence or the combination of all the dual tendencies such as happiness and difficulty, joy and grief, comfort and discomfort, truth and untruth. In spite of them, whatever is your dharma (duty) , you follow that. You need not worry about the rest.

In the same way, samsara means not one person. It means wife and husband. The husband must not do anything without the knowledge of the wife and the wife must not do anything without the knowledge of the husband. The unity of both wife and husband is samsara. This being so, seeing that both of you lack understanding, in order to clear the doubt and suspicion arising between you, I have revealed all these. Knowing this, if I don’t reveal this to you, I would become a party to it, allowing you to commit mistakes. I should not do that. I should not conceal the right and wrong happiness. Do not keep all this in your mind, and keep brooding over it. Each must share joy and sorrow. One must not keep everything in one’s mind. Balachandran’s health is affected because of this.

Both of you should resolve the issues between yourselves. It should not be revealed to a third person. You are both like the two eyes of a face. If any one eye suffers from an ailment, it affects the face. You set right the wrongs that he has done. Be happy and have faith in him. Do not have any doubt. Remember the name of Sai at all times. Everything will be all right. I will take care of you both. Particularly, you must be happy, as I have said. You should feel since you have come to know all this. Know that Swami has done all this for your good… I have written all this out of My compassion, and to see that your samsara moves on the right path. Amma, Padmamma, accept My blessings.
